The Victory Works are a flagship collection of art works by David Pflugi. Over the course of 26 years, David Pflugi has been crafting commemorative art works that accompany every Football World Cup.

The big story began in 1998 when David resolved to create a beautiful work of art in honor of the World Cup in France, and to then have it signed personally by all players of both teams participating in the final. Thanks to the personal support and assistance of Mr Walter Gagg, a high ranking functionary in the world of football at the time and now the president of the “Victory Works”, the seemingly impossible became possible.

Social sustainability and charitable endeavors are intertwined with these works. These unique and priceless artifacts are not only memorable for the World Cup as well as sporting history, but are also an embodiment of how fusionist art can immortalize legendary events. Spanning the last seven world cups, David Pflugi has created over fifty-five fusionist art works of varying complexity that result in a great Victory Works collection. These will soon be presented to the world.

Helping children in need is a crucial undertaking for David Pflugi, and a lifelong commitment. His foundation, established in 2022, cements this philosophy and ethos. Even prior to this, in 2019, David was actively involved in establishing a care home for children with disabilities in South Africa. Due to the fact that each Victory Work has been signed by every member of the World Cup finalist teams, these remarkable works are truly one of a kind and can therefore safely be considered to be of great interest to top-level collectors across the world.

Ultimately, the works are destined to be auctioned, with a considerable share of the proceeds going to charitable causes, chiefly those that focus on providing education opportunities to disadvantaged children in developing countries.

Tokenization

Three selected Victory Works have been tokenized! In other words: You can become one of the owners of these works by purchasing cryptographic tokens representing partial ownership. Once the works are physically sold through auctions, there will be a distribution of the proceeds of these auctions according to the share of tokens owned.

What is tokenization?

Over the course of the past decade, cryptocurrencies have developed from a marginal phenomenon to an important, innovative financial instrument. The best-known example of a cryptocurrency is likely Bitcoin. Although different cryptocurrencies vary somewhat in their technical details, they are generally built on the same basic technology: The «blockchain», a digital accounting system which is maintained in decentralized fashion by all those participating in a crypto-trade system and is protected from any falsification by a wide range of technical measures. The economic importance of this technology arises from the fact that it does not depend on any central issuing authority and can be accessed in a very straightforward fashion from all around the world. It is often referred to as a «Distributed Ledger Technology». In Switzerland, such technologies are regulated by new laws which came into effect in September of 2020, putting them on a very solid legal basis.

Using blockchain technology, various assets can be traded. A multitude of new possibilities and opportunities has arisen from this. Trade is not limited to digital currencies, like bitcoin: It is also possible to buy and trade shares in physical assets — from real estate to art to vintage cars and many more. In this way, almost any kind of property can be made available to investors, with very low barriers to entry.
