Tipomo

Behind the scenes

Tipomo was David Pflugi's first public performance. It took place on September 20th 2003 in Basel, in the "Fasnachtsbrunnen", a fountain created by artist Jean Tinguely.

On the bodies of his performers, David Pflugi brought together the styles of two artists: Jackon Pollock's complex action paintings and the fields of colour which are typical for the art of Piet Mondrian. The name of the performance reflects the names of these artists (Tinguely, Pollock, Mondrian).
